Top Ten Series I Want to Binge Read Soon

May 19, 2015

toptentuesdayTop Ten Tuesday is a fun meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

This week was a freebie topic, so I thought I’d go with series that I would love to binge read soon. As some of you may know, I’m trying my hardest to catch up on the series that I’ve already started, but there are some new series calling out to me, begging to be read!

1) Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas
I have all the books. I’m prepared. I just need to psyche myself up to pick up Throne of Glass and start reading.

2) The Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo
I have already read Shadow and Bone, but I am well overdue for a re-read before picking up Siege and Storm and Ruin and Rising and devouring them. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS.

3) Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry
I read Pushing the Limits aaaages ago, but I’ve finally picked up the rest of the books in the series and I’m so ready for a major swoon-fest. SO READY.

4) Chaos Walking by Patrick Ness
I’ve been telling myself that I’m going to read this trilogy for years, and it still hasn’t happened. I’m changing this soon. I promise.

5) The Iron Fey by Julie Kagawa
Again, I’ve read the first two books in this series, but I’m really ready to be caught up on this series as I do really enjoy reading it.

6) Soul Screamers by Rachel Vincent
How long have I been telling myself that I’ll read this series? Way too long. I own six out of seven books in the series as well, which is terrible but also wonderful as I won’t have to wait to pick up the next book in the series!

7) Guards of the Shadowlands by Sarah Fine
I bought all three of these books when they featured on various Kindle Daily Deals, so I have them all lined up, ready and waiting for me to click on them.

8) The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan
I’m planning on saving this for a halloween binge read, because this series would be PERFECT for that time of year. Although whether I’ll be able to wait that long is a totally different matter!

9) The Wolves of Mercy Falls by Maggie Stiefvater
Again, I’ve owned this series for SO LONG and I still haven’t read it all. I’m planning on re-reading Shiver very soon and then continuing on with the rest of the series straight after.

10) Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R Ward
Is this series even complete? I’m not sure, but I do know that I have a lot of books to catch up on, which I should probably think about doing soon…

Isn’t it the best thing? I hate the gap between books, and I think that’s why I have so many unfinished series sitting on my shelf as I genuinely start losing interest in a series as they get replaced by newer, shinier ones!

AFDJKAS I have so many feelings about Shiver!! The last book is my absolute FAVOURITE. So much love for Cole and Isabel. Ohhh, and I want to finish the Chaos walking books too. *nods emphatically* Patrick Ness is a writing master. I love all his books I’ve read so far. šŸ˜€ And one of these days I’ll get around to the Fey series too!
    Here’s my TTT!

I read Shiver years ago, but I know I enjoyed it, so I’m hoping the love continues on! I still haven’t read anything by Patrick Ness bar an excerpt of More Than This…which is super shameful!

I’ve had to be really strict with the series I start this year, I’m determined to finish/catch up with as many as possible before starting any new ones…my will is definitely starting to weaken though!

LOVE your topic choice this week^^ I still need to read the Grisha series, Black Dagger Brotherhood, Wolves of Mercy Falls, Iron Fey and Soul Screamers (I thought I was the only one!) but they’re all on my tbr shelf. I have read the Throne of Glass series and they’re among my ALL-TIME favorites ā™„ I hope you’ll love them as much as I do šŸ˜€ GREAT picks!! xx

I know what you mean about Soul Screamers, it feels like EVERYONE has read those books apart from me (and you, of course!) I’m so excited to get into Throne of Glass, I’m planning on clearing out my reading schedule properly so I can just lose myself in those books.

Love your choice of topic this week! Throne of Glass is amazing, I hope you get around to reading those books soon. I also have yet to start on the Chaos Walking Trilogy but hope to do so soon.

Don’t think I’ve heard of many of these, will have to check them out! I’ve been pretty bad about finishing series lately as well – there are so many of them it’s hard to keep up. I think my TBR pile cringes every time I find a new series – HA.

OHEMGEE, Throne of Glass!!! DO IT!!! I ADORE those books!!!

The Grisha trilogy is one I don’t own yet, let alone making a start on them, but they are on my wishlist.
I’ve only read two books from the Pushing the Limits series so far, but I really enjoyed them, and have the rest ready to binge too. Same with the Chaos Walking trilogy. Asti from Oh The Books! is to blame for me binge-buying that one (like I need someone to blame…). I know everyone says The Raven Cycle series is better that The Wolves of Mercy falls, but I’ve read Wolves and have yet to read Raven, and I liked Wolves…

This was a great idea for a TTT! I have so many series waiting to be binge read at the minute. SO MANY! Lol R x

Having recently binged both the Throne of Glass and Grisha series — READ THESE BOTH NOW. PLEASE. JUST DO IT! (This is one situation where peer pressure is a good thing, so just go read them both now. Please.) Some books aren’t worth the hype, but these ones are. I promise.

I’m about halfway through the Black Dagger Brotherhood books and they are GOOD. Steamy, and good. I think a new one just came out too, so I don’t think the series is over just yet. Or maybe it just ended? I’m not sure either.
