Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’m Excited to Read in 2012

January 3, 2012

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish

So here’s a list of the ten books I’m most excited to read in 2012!

1) The Fault In Our Stars by John Green.
I’m so desperate to get my hands on this book! Only a few more days to go now, and I literally cannot wait to read it!

2) Stolen Nights by Rebecca Maizel.
I need to know what happens after Infinite Days. I really, really do!

3) Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare.
I finished Clockwork Prince yesterday, but I just haven’t had my full fix of this wonderful series yet! Just a shame it’s released so late into the year! (November!)

4) A Million Suns by Beth Revis.
Whilst I didn’t fall in love with Across the Universe as much as everyone else seemed to, I’m still eager to find out what happens to Amy and Elder and the rest of Godspeed.

5) The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa.
I loved The Iron King and plan on finishing the rest of the series soon, so I’m really excited to read Kagawa’s next series. And this one has vampires!

6) City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare.
City of Fallen Angels ended on such an awful cliffhanger that I need to know what happens next!

7) Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson.
I loved Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour so I’m very excited to see what Matson will produce next.

8) Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi.
I am very, very excited about this one. The premise sounds absolutely amazing, and I’m planning on pre-ordering this very soon!

9) Everneath by Brodi Ashton.
Again, amazing premise and an even more amazing cover. Really excited to read this one.

10) The Disenchantments by Nina LaCour.
I love road trips. I love music. Put these two together in a book and you are guaranteed I will read it.

City of Lost Souls didn’t make it on my list but I still really want to read it NOW lol. I also plan to read Across the Universe soon, everyone seemed to love it and I feel like I am missing out on something. Great List!

Ah, I agree with The Fault In Our Stars and I just picked up Under the Never Sky today! I would be excited about A Million Suns, but I have yet to read Across the Universe. Thanks for sharing your list!
