Charity Shop Bargain and a Hat.

October 14, 2011

So yesterday, I went for a walk around Hunstanton town with my friend, Hailey. We had a look around the joke shop, which was a little bit of a let down for halloween costumes, they were rather pricey (the most expensive was £65!) and many had far cheaper replicas on Ebay anyway! After that we popped into Horizons, a lovely little trinket store, which sell everything from Virtue jewellery to animal-shaped doorstops. They already had a Christmas display, and all the ornaments were stunning! I could seriously have spent a fortune in there, everything is just so lovely! I dragged Hailey into our local Sense Charity shop ‘just for a look’. I must admit, I was a sceptic over people finding bargains in charity shops. Until I discovered this little beauty for £12.60, when it’s RRP is £42! It’s made by the brand Rare too, which I was excited to find out as well!

Sorry about the poor quality, and yes, that is my bedroom door. I’m a fangirl for my favourite bands. The dress is a lovely silky material and falls just above my knees. I am absolutely in love with it. I’m not a complete convert to Charity shop shopping, but it just proves that bargains can be found if you look hard enough!

Plus, I got a new hat from Next today. I’ve wanted this hat since I first laid my eyes on it in the catalogue. I desperately wanted to get my hands on it, and today, I finally did!

The fur lining is so lovely and warm, and I can’t wait until we start getting proper cold weather so I can wear it more often! (I plan on wearing it when I arrive home off my holiday next month, I don’t want to be getting cold ears!)
